We had our 18 week ultrasound yesterday and much to our surprise we are having a boy! I guess you can not trust the Chinese gender calendar, the necklace test, the heart rate test, or mother's intuition. Here are two ultrasound pictures. The one labeled "boy parts" is just that. It is just to the right of the hand. The other picture is the face (on the left) and the torso in cross section on the right. He is still pretty boney. Happily there were no signs of any thing to worry about. In honor of the big news we finalized our registries. We are registered at Babiesrus.com and myregistry.com. Myregistry.com has a password, it is the baby's name, Emmet. The full name is Emmet Alan Malisch.
