Forrester!
We are preparing for the arrival of Emmet (only six weeks to go). On Tuesday we went to our first childbirth class that is offered by our hospital. It was very informative and entertaining. Adam volunteered to take part in a demonstration (of course they did not tell him what he was up for). They put him in the "empathy apron", a vest with many pockets that they stuffed with heavy items that represent pregnancy weight gain. The funniest was the three pounds of breast tissue!! After Adam was laden with breasts, fat pads, bottles of water and a baby, all the women in the class took turns telling him to do things, like tie his shoes and getting up after laying on the floor. Unfortunatly, I did not have a camera to document the event.
On Wednesday we prepared for Emmet by giving up our beloved red (2-door) pathfinder for the more car seat friendly Forrester. Adam loves how zippy it is, I love the auxillary port for my ipod, and we both love the better MPGs and all wheel drive! Montana here we come!
In addition to classes and car buying, I have been preparing for Emmet by swimming daily. Sorry, but there will be no photos of the maternity bathing suit!
