ha ha just kidding... he's still little and sooooo cute! cute as a bug. and squeezably soft. and you can still sit on top of him without him overthrowing you. when he starts to be able to throw you off, that is when he is no longer a baby.
On an unrelated note: which park is this? I thought that we had been to every park in Riverside, and I don't recall the ladybug (or gentlemanbug, as the case may be).
Re: the missing baby When Emmet gets a little older, you can tell him stories about what he was like as a baby. My kids find this endlessly fascinating, and it kind of replaces the pain of losing all the previous life stages with a common memory with the kids (even though they don't actually remember a lot of it).

and to think just a year ago we would watch his arms and legs jabbing out of your stomach. how time flies.
