The fire truck ride on from Aunt Jenn and Uncle Josh. He loves to hit the buttons, dance to the music, push it around the house (standing behind it, kneeling behind it etc.), LOVES to put things into the cargo hold (:read mom's keys, dad's cell phone), and ride on it (he pushes himself now (read: mom and dad's backs feel so much better!). He also adores his baby ipod, books (Rainbow Rob and Green Eggs and Ham), the bus he stole from cousin Sophie, his train and balls, balls, balls.
He is learning so fast these days, he can now say cracker, truck, and makes valiant attempts to say "all done". He knows the sign for all done (does it without mom doing it first). This morning when I went to get him from his crib he was standing at one end, had turned the room light on (good thing we are moving or we would have had to move the crib....or the light switch) and was signing "all done". I had to laugh!
Here is Emmet in an awesome shirt from "Aunt Joey". We LOVE it!
In other news, the moving van is here and I can no longer deny that the time has come. Adam and I are having serious Riverside nostalgia. We are two of the few Riverside fans (Beth makes three of us) and this winter has been so pretty this year. Everyday there is another breath taking view of snow capped peaks, the weather is amazing and our backyard is such an enjoyable space. But we are headed to a pretty incredible place, I am sure once we are there we will say "Riverside? did we live there once??". Once again I must say how much we will miss our family in the area :( Boohoooo. Come with us!
