Emmet's September in Review

Emmet has some mad trike riding skills. And Mom and Dad could not be happier to sit back and watch Emmet ride solo. He lets himself out on the deck and says things like "see ya later, I am going to work" or "off to the store to buy some strawberry jelly". He also has a morning chore, he lets Nyala out of her crate and then out the back door to go "poop in the yard".

Emmet takes on the motorcycle ride at the Western Montana Fair. He is a brave one and happily rides all the rides they will let him on alone.
I finally took Emmet to the Big Dipper for his first kiddie cone! He appears to be saying "Woman, you have been holding out on me big time!".

Emmet got a wonderful visit from his Great Aunt Sandy and Great Uncle Les! They had a blast together and Uncle Les was happy to see Emmet had John Deer Tractor toys!

Here Emmet is making cookies with babysitter extraordinaire, Hannah. So that is why he likes her soooo much!

I took Emmet to the children's museum, first he brushed the huge teeth!

Then some construction work.

And finally a turn at the paint station!

We also had a huge play date with no less than six kids. Here I got a shot of 4 of the six and three are actually looking! Finally I feel justified in having built such a big sand box, all six fir comfortably with minimal sand throwing:)

Here is a video of Emmet at gymnastics. I was more than a bit jealous of this activity!

And a bit jealous of the giant trampoline as well!

Emmet and Dad go for a spin on the carousel. This one is just a little too fast for old preggos these days but I am looking forward to riding with my Mr. Emmet Pants again soon!

We went to Ella's third b-day party at the park. Here the pasty twins inhale the sun chips (they did this for most of the party).

Cupcakes! I tried to sneek off pre-cupcake but was busted by Ella's Mom. You lucked out on this one E-pants! He looks like he is worried I might intercept his victory:)

ohhh, sharing, okay!

We had an excellent visit from Granny Mel. Emmet adores her! Here he is reading a story about how Mommy and Daddy had a life before he was born and went to some place called "Paris".
Emmet showing off his new jammies from Granny Mel!

I took Emmet to a train show (dork-fest 2009!) He loved it! The train displays were disappointing to me, but Emmet was quite pleased

I dressed him in matching shirt, pants and socks. Emmet accessorized with converting his shirt to a halter and putting on some mardi gras beads... hmmmmm.

Emmet totally scored with a box of hand me down Thomas the train stuff from "Team Soup" (aka Kevin and Zoe Campbell). I am not sure we have had to interact with Emmet since this box of gold arrived. He goes for it first thing every morning and plays with it all day. It is his favorite thing to tell people, "I got trains!".
Here Emmet marches around the house singing his ABC's to the beat of his drum.

Emmet taking his friend Amelia's scutt bike for a spin around the park.
Emmet has been hysterical to be around these days. He is a big time talker and questioner. After an interrogation about where mommy goes after he goes to preschool he bid me farewell by saying "Bye Momma, go make money and buy chocolate milk".
