Epic Christmas Post

Well here it is, a bit delayed but I have left nothing out. On Christmas Eve we dressed the boys in their matching union suits and let them open a couple of gifts from Aunt Jenny, Uncle Josh, Grandma Connie, and Paul- a new family friend who joined us to celebrate the holiday.

In an effort to reduce our impact on our planet, we switched to using reusable cloth bags for our gifts. I was a bit concerned that the kids would miss out on the joy of wrapping paper removal, but alas my concern was not warranted. The kids were equally thrilled to pull a ribbon and dump a bag as to rip paper, the end result being what mattered, something new and exciting for them to play with.

Paul is a fan of cars and he gave each boy a model car for Christmas, I think Emmet, Sawyer and Paul share a common interest:)

Next we admired Sawyer's curls, well at least I did....

bid farewell till next year to Pom Pom.....

and laid out cookies and the cloth bags that we told Santa we would leave for him (no need to wrap our gifts big guy!) and hit the hay.

And Santa delivered! Happiness followed:)
