I think I like this second picture best. Santa and Emmet are having a moment... a moment of shock, I wonder what the dialog was between those two.
We watched the lighting of the Claremont Christmas tree and took a gander at the occupy Claremont encampment (not shown). 
This year we attempted to be greener. Which included ecofriendly decorations, buying used items from thrift shops and craigslist, and the grand finale..... no wrapping paper. Instead of paper we are wrapping gifts in reusable cloth bags we made from upcycled sheets (bought at thrift stores). It actually went really well. And now that all the bags are made, we are set for life (I hope because I am tired of sewing bags!).
