Baby Emmet arrived on March 1st, 2007 at Loma Linda Hospital (an amazing facility that I highly recommend). Here are some pics taken shortly after he rapidly arrived into this world (no joke, I pushed 8 times and there he was!). The story is much longer and less pleasant than I just made it sound. Ask me if you want details, but I will spare the blog. Lets just say we were all thrilled to see him and hear him wail. He passed his hearing test with flying colors (see pic) and scored 9 and 9 on his APGAR. Emmet, you little over achiever. There is also a pic of him with Julie, our Labor nurse, she rocked and we will always remember her and all of the staff at Loma Linda fondly for their efforts making this day perfect.

Yay Malisches!!!!! He is gorgeous, which is to be expected with such (huge?)(tall?)(freakishly large?) beautiful parents! We are so happy for you! Love Kim, Rusty, Austyn and (soon to be joining Emmet) Bryce
