Emmet celebrated one week of age by being swaddled like a string bean and taking a big snooze. Adam and I are swaddling inept, so thanks to all of you who purchased us "swaddle me" fleece wraps that have Velcro! They have saved the day. Other products that have gotten the "Adam and Jessica, New Parent" seal of approval are the boppy (thanks Sharon). The boppy is a baby napper, baby nurser, and a source of great comfort for mom to sit on the multiple trips to Loma Linda for lactation consulting (oh my sore tailbone!). The boppy cover has also been a life saver (thanks to Beth for the heads up on that and to Grandma Mel for buying us such a great one). Thanks to target brand diapers (seal of disapproval) there have been many meal time urination leaks and the boppy cover has been washed almost everyday! For those of you asking yourselves, where are those dang cloth diapers I bought Emmet? Well, they are waiting in the wings for his belly button to heal, then we will go into full blown conservation mode!
