Here are some pics from a family trip to Bodie State Park, which is a ghost town. Emmet loves dirt so this place was right up his alley! He also loves to throw things so we tried to get him to throw change at the collection plate in the old church. Pocket change is a big no no (choking hazard) and Emmet seized the opportunity to hold the money tight in his fist, so in the end we had to snake it from him and then throw it ourselves. The park rangers actually live in the ghost town! You might guess that it takes a special person to live in a ghost town and after talking to one of the residents our suspicions were confirmed. The girl we met was pretty odd! I asked her if they had internet and or TV and she said "We have everything we want". Okay....... a yes or no would have been a bit more informative....
