More Field Pics

Here are a few more pics from the field. This is Mr Emmet Pants at camp, dad and Emmet pants, and two pics of the wonderful grandparents that made this field season possible. Grandpa Tim was the first to come down for some QT with Emmet and then Grandma Mel came down. Thanks Tim and Mel!!!!!!!!

Thanks to Grandma Mel's tutoring and her keen ear, Emmet has a vocabulary of over 50 words! Some include, turtle, toe, foot, shoe, book, carrot, green bean, cheese, bird, duck, tree, rock, sock, truck, car, toy, peas, ear, nose, mouth, hat, head....... and more! Everyday more words are added to the list. It is a good thing too because he has still not decided to walk yet. He is a speed demon on the crawl and can cruise the whole town of Lee Vining (Population 398) by pushing his fire truck. But no independent steps yet. He loves to walk behind his fire truck so much that he throws a huge tantrum when we steer him home and if allowed he will walk for miles. We have to hide the truck in the bathtub to get him to forget about it. I hear that he is advanced in the tantrum department, hee hee!
