In the spirit of the Halloween Season, we joined our neighbors on a trip to Garnet Ghost Town. It was a scenic drive that lead to a well preserved and remote ghost town. You could wander freely into most buildings, including going to the third floor of the old hotel. It was a welcome change, most ghost towns I have been too are heavily gated. Here you could actually touch the old doorknobs and stroll through buildings. It was funny to see the ages of some parts of the town and to know that our Riverside house is the same age!

Our very awesome neighbors (and Emmet and Dad).
