Bass Creek Hike
Arg, I am still behind on my blogging! So two weeks ago I went on a hike with dear friends Eliza, Rachel, and Jon. Oh, yes and Emmet pants and Nyala went as well. I forgot my camera and Jon's camera had no batteries so all photo credits go to Eliza (yes that include the pics with her in them....talent!).
Jon and Eliza (they are brother and sister, ahhh how cute!).
Rachel and Jessica ponder when we will see some good scenery???
Emmet actually does some of his own hiking! This really slowed things up I might add.
Emmet's first snake. This made mommy a bit nervous but Emmet seemed to like it.
The destination, where we met another one year and his mommy. They told us about an organic daycare in Missoula. So guess who is now enrolled there???? That is right, Mr. Emmet Pants. They eat all organic, they all wear cloth diapers, they go on nature hikes and they do yoga and meditate, I LOVE MISSOULA! The only bummer is that it is a long drive to get there. Emmet is on a wait list for another organic daycare that is .4 miles from the house! He should get in in September and then mommy will bike Emmet to daycare on her ride to work.

I love that last photo. And your blog and phone messages are making me soooooo homesick. Now do you have a deeper understanding of my weirdness? I LOVE MISSOULA TOO! I sure miss you and Missoula. If only I could afford to visit sooner than later. It will have to be a little bit later than now. Boo. Keep em comin. I love being reminded of such wonderful people and places.
It's hard to really tell but 'lil Emmet pants doesn't look so 'lil.

Freakin' Hippies. You need to drive your gas guzzler to work and send your child to TV watching Daycare like the rest of us. You'd think with a PHD you would know these things.
(You know we're just jealous. Living in the land of Urban Sprawl and Home foreclosure (one would think it was an oxymoron, but sadly it isn't) is making us a bit bitter. Maybe we'll pack it all up and go squat in the backyard at your house.)
