Preschool for Sawyer

Sawyer is in the Pooh Bear class at First United Methodist Preschool. His preschool is about 3/4 of a mile from our house and he can bike there and back. 

He celebrated his fourth birthday at the beginning of the school year. He selected Darth Vader napkins and wore his Darth Vader costume.

He hummed the imperial march while handing out the napkins.

The birthday child gets to mix up the juice on their day!

Here he is with his teacher, Ms. Stalder. She has taught this class for over 40 years! 

Mom surprised Sawyer by arriving at school dressed as Princess Leia and I also brought along R2D2.

Sawyer LOVES FUMPs. It is Soooo nice that he looks forward to school and is not phased at all that I leave him there. I love being home with him so much. He went through a phase where he didn't want to stay for lunch, an optional hour that he typical begs for. It was so nice to be able to let him make the choice to not stay instead of me telling him he had to stay because I have work. I am savoring being home for my boys.
