Eastern Sierras (post 2)

On our first full day at the cabin (Friday) we attempted without success to rectify the no water situation. It turns out that running water is a freaking luxury!!! We know this because we did not have water at the cabin for the first two weeks last year. Needing a break from the plumbing headache, we headed into Lee Vining to meet friends, Yvette, Solomon, and Henry at the coffee shop, Latte Da.

I wish this picture did not look like Emmet is trying to push Solomon down the stairs, really they were having fun and no one was injured. 

After the coffee shop we headed to the "tractor" park, the park in Lee Vining for more fun with our friends. Here Solomon and Emmet are making Ranger laugh. 

After the park it was back to the cabin for lunch and beach preparations. 

June Lake is easily one of our Eastern Sierra favorites. Note the beer bottle between Sawyer and Ranger... Alright kids, whose hitting the bottle?

Apparently it was Ranger. He needs a word bubble that says "hey Mom, grab me another Shandy, will ya?".

No can do son, it appears Dad snagged it.

One day of acclimating to elevation prior to commencing research at Tioga Pass, check! This is such hard work:)
